Meet Kieran
From being an apprentice working on architectural buildings to fitting out shops in London, Kieran has had a varied journey to setting up his award-winning building company. One thing has remained constant throughout his career - his belief of a "reputation built on quality".
After completing his apprenticeship in 2007, Kieran did the classic Kiwi OE and went to London where he spent time working on shop fitouts. Upon returning home, Kieran returned to his previous employer for another four years before going out on his own.
K B Gleeson Building started in 2013 and over the years Kieran has built the company true to his “reputation built on quality” belief.
Today the company employs eight staff and has completed many successful builds around the region, winning multiple awards from Master Builder’s House of the Year.
Kieran is currently the President of the Registered Master Builders Association – Wairarapa branch and has been involved with the local executive team for several years. This is part of Kieran’s belief in upskilling members in the construction industry and supporting the wider sector.
Outside work, Kieran enjoys spending time with his family in Greytown, playing hockey with a local team and getting outdoors whenever possible.
